Why Groups?
Groups are a way of living out our purpose, both as individuals and as a collective group of people—to be the church. It’s in smaller groups that people can get close enough to know each other, to care and share, to challenge and support, to confide and confess, to forgive and be forgiven, to laugh and weep together, to be accountable to each other, to watch over each other and to grow together. At Desert City Church there are many different groups to connect with: men, women, bible studies, co-ed small groups, adult ed classes, and more. Wednesday Connect Groups
For four weeks starting September 13 Desert City will be kicking off round three of Wednesday Night Connect. This is a great onramp to small groups! Bring your own dinner as we eat together between 5:30 and 6:15, then at 6:15 everyone we will head to our chosen breakout group till 7:30. We have three options for these breakouts or just continue to eat and spend time getting to know people. We will also have childcare for those with kids!
Small Groups
We believe that one of the most powerful ways for people to encounter Jesus and His transforming community is in the setting of a small group. We invite you to do ‘life together’ with one another in small groups which requires us to commit to one another and show up, even when it’s hard. Interested in finding out more? Women’s Bible Studies
Women's Groups are beginning and we would love to get you connected, especially if you consider Desert City your home. Community and spending time together is a huge part of who we are at DCC and if you've been waiting for a chance to jump in and try something new- we hope now is the time you say "Yes!" Tuesday Morning Men’s Breakfast
Every Tuesday morning from 6:30 to 7:30 men of all ages gather in the main sanctuary to enjoy breakfast and study scripture together. If you would like to check it out feel free to just show up or click button below to sign up for the email.
Desert City Moms
Being a mom is hard, but it doesn’t have to be lonely. MOPS/ Moms Next is a great way to connect with other mamas. This is for all mom's who have a child who is elementary-age and younger. We meet at the church the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of most months, from 9:30a-11:30am. Childcare is included in the membership fee. Email Sarah Ells to find out how you can get connected.
